Introduction

This guide will help you ensure that emails moved to the trash folder are counted in email quota calculations.
This setting is disabled by default.

Procedure

Visit the following menu in WHM: Home »Service Configuration »Mailserver Configuration
Tick the box that says "Include Trash in Quota."
Run the following command as the root user via SSH (or use the WHM Terminal menu) for the change to be calculated:
/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/generate_maildirsize --allaccounts --confirm
