Introduction

This article explains how to change the permissions of a file or folder via the File Manager Graphical interface.

Procedure

1. Log into the user's cPanel account.
2. Open the "File Manager" application.
3. Right-click the file or folder which will have the permissions changed.
4. Select "Change Permissions" from the pop-up menu.
   
5. Select the permissions for the file or folder.
   
6. Click the "Change Permissions" button.
