How to edit files via File Manager Print

Introduction

When managing your files via cPanel's File Manager, you have the option to edit your files in the browser. 

 

Procedure

To edit a file within the File Manager on your cPanel account, please follow these steps: 

  1. Navigate to the folder where the file is located.
  2. Click on the name of the file.
  3. Click on the Edit icon. This will open the Edit window.
  4. Click Edit. This will open a new window with the content of the file displayed.
  5. When ready, click Save Changes on the top toolbar.

The new changes will be saved and will take effect immediately.
