Symptoms
When cpanel-analytics is upgraded to version 1.4.57-8.8.1, ea-nginx will be installed when the gather_update_log_stats script runs.
Description
The gather_update_log_stats script checks to see if ea-nginx is installed. When cpanel-analytics version 1.4.57-8.8.1 is installed, it will attempt to install ea-nginx if it is missing.
We've opened an internal case for our development team to investigate this further. For reference, the case number is CPANEL-49010. Follow this article to receive an email notification when a solution is published in the product.
This issue has been corrected in cpanel-analytics version 1.4.57-9.9.1.
Workaround
This issue has been fixed in cpanel-analytics version 1.4.57-9.9.1 or later. Once updated to this version, you can remove ea-nginx.
yum uninstall ea-nginxPlease note that if you previously locked this package to a lower version, the yum lock will need to be removed.
