How do I use IP Migration Wizard to transfer sites to a different IP on the server?

Answer

1. Log into WHM as the root user.
2. Navigate to Home / IP Functions / IP Migration Wizard.

3. Enter the new IP address in the text box.

   Note: If your server is in a NAT, use the private IP.

4. Click the Continue button.
5. To confirm the translation from the old IP address to the new IP address, click the Continue button.
6. Read the notice then click the Continue button.
7. Wait for the configuration updates to complete then click the Continue button.
8. Wait for the DNS zones to be updated then click the Continue buttons.
9. Once you have confirmed the DNS changes have propagated, click the Clicking Here button to proceed.
10. Click the click here text in the After completing the above, please click here to finish the change-over line.
