Description
cPanel has updated account username restrictions to include user admin recently. Accounts with this username will be unable to remove their account because of an account hook in WHM. Disabling the hook temporarily will allow the affected accounts to be removed.
We've opened an internal case for our development team to investigate this further. For reference, the case number is CPANEL-49308. Follow this article to receive an email notification when a solution is published in the product.
Workaround
This has been resolved in the following case.
