Symptoms

When attempting to create an account, you receive an error similar to the following.

Account Creation Status: failed. Missing DEFMOD Config Line in /etc/wwwacct.conf, please reconfigure with Edit Setup. at /usr/local/cpanel/Whostmgr/Accounts/Create.pm line 573.

Description

The error occurs when the DEFMOD line in /etc/wwwacct.conf doesn't contain a theme.

Workaround

1. Access the server's command line as the 'root' user via SSH or "Terminal" in WHM.
2. Open /etc/wwwacct.conf in your preferred text editor.
3. Add jupiter to the DEFMOD line.

   DEFMOD jupiter

4. Save the changes and exit the text editor.
