Introduction

The announcement banner advertises new cPanel features. However, some providers may not want the banner displayed. The following article provides the steps to disable the announcement banner.

Procedure

1. Log into WHM as the ‘root’ user.
2. Navigate to "Home / Server Configuration / Tweak Settings."
3. Click the "Display" tab.
4. Change the "Display announcement banner." option to "Off."
5. Click the "Save" button.
