Symptoms
After upgrading cPanel, Softaculous may produce an error similar to the following.
Incorrect binary permission Child failed to make LIVEAPI connection to cPanel.
Child failed to make LIVEAPI connection to cPanel.
Cause
This issue can happen if cPanel's internal PHP version is updated and Softaculous hasn't been updated to work with it yet, or there are permissions issues with the internal Softaculous files.
Resolution
Reinstall Softaculous using the steps outlined in their documentation.
